Hereford Model Railway

This model of Hereford Barr’s Court railway station on the former GWR / LNWR ‘North & West Route’ from South Wales to Manchester has been under development since 2020, and depicts this busy centrepoint of railway ‘crossroads’ as it would have appeared between the 1900s and 1960s. As well as Hereford itself, cameo displays are also under construction of Dinedor Tunnel and Holme Lacy station on the Hereford, Ross & Gloucester route. All 3 prototype sites are within 3 miles of the model’s home!

These pages bring together materials I have explored in the course of researching the model, and i hope may prove useful and interesting to others. I will be continually expanding this series of blog posts as information and opportunity arises (with knowledgeable contributions or questions much welcome).
